The Wall Street Journal is offering paidinternships in its Beijing newsroom to undergraduates and graduate students whointend to pursue a career in journalism. Applicants must be enrolled in auniversity in China, fluent in Chinese and English and available to work aminimum of 20 hours a week.
The Wall Street Journal is a leader inround-the-clock news coverage and maintains one of the largest foreign mediaoperations in China. Interns will work closely with the bureau’s award-winningreporters and editors to cover a range of beats, assisting them in conductingstory research, booking interviews, posting items to the web, buildingslideshows and performing other newsroom tasks.
Digital literacy, dedication to the highestjournalistic standards and a voracious appetite for news coming out of theworld’s second-largest economy are vital.
